United Barcode Systems (UBS) has been awarded the CIEGE Certificate (Informa elEconomista Certificate for Excellence in Management) for the fifth consecutive year. This recognition once again highlights our business strength, sustained profitability, and firm commitment to innovation, international expansion, social responsibility, and customer satisfaction.

The CIEGE Certificate is an award granted by Informa D&B and elEconomista that certifies excellence in business management through a comprehensive audit process.
In the 2025 edition, candidate companies were evaluated based on 64 indicators grouped into 10 major categories: solvency, profitability, growth, internationalization, human resources, sustainability, customer satisfaction and quality, innovation, commercial risk management, and digitalization.
Passing this evaluation requires demonstrating financial balance, growth capacity, organizational maturity, and a long-term vision, along with responsible management focused on continuous improvement.
The eighth edition of the CIEGE Certificate was marked by record figures.
In 2025, 2,339 companies began the free audit process, and 517 formally submitted their applications. Of these, only 84 companies successfully passed the evaluation and obtained the certificate—representing a 17% increase compared to the previous year and the highest number of certified companies in the history of the program.
Since the certificate was launched in 2018, a total of 469 excellence seals have been awarded, consolidating CIEGE as a benchmark for outstanding business management in Spain.
Within this highly competitive context, renewing the certificate for the fifth consecutive year further strengthens UBS’s position as a company that consistently maintains outstanding management standards year after year.
The CIEGE Certificate accredits UBS for its excellent business management, validating its constant effort in key areas such as financial solidity, sustained profitability and growth, international expansion, innovation and digitalization, as well as sustainability and social responsibility.
