What is the CIEGE certificate?
The CIEGE certificate or Informa - elEconomista Certificate for Excellent Management is a business award given to a few companies in the market that accredits excellence in their management.
In this sixth edition, only 83 companies out of the more than 2,500 companies that started the audit have obtained the recognition, among which is United Barcode Systems.
What does this certification accredit UBS?
For United Barcode Systems, achieving this certification represents a great satisfaction and a recognition of the effort made during all these years to maintain honourable standards in terms of the management of the areas required to obtain the CIEGE.
What parameters does this certification evaluate?
The certification assesses more than 50 key business management indicators, addressing areas such as solvency, profitability, growth, employment, customer satisfaction, business risk management and digitalization, among many others. The audit provides a customized report highlighting strengths and weaknesses.

Who conducts this assessment?
The assessment is carried out by INFORMA's DBK Sector Observatory team, who analyse the information provided by the company. The result of this audit determines whether the company obtains the CIEGE Certificate for Excellent Management. Companies with an overall rating equal to or higher than 50% on the predefined scale of values are eligible to receive this certification. The awarding of certificates is held at an annual gala with media coverage through elEconomista and Informa's business directories.
